How these pages are written
The rule sheet behind the downloader and guides. Pages here are meant to do a job, not to multiply the phrase “YouTube thumbnail downloader” until a crawler gives up.
One job per URL
A tool downloads, extracts, checks, previews, samples, compares, converts, or cleans. A guide answers one question: which size exists, why maxres is missing, how Shorts crop, whether you may use the file. We do not publish “thumbnail downloader for [every niche]” clones with the same three paragraphs swapped.
People first, then machines
Titles describe the job. The first paragraph states the problem. Filenames are real (maxresdefault.jpg, not “Ultra HD pack”). Internal links use descriptive anchors. Collection pages (tools, guides) organize work.
What we will not scale
We will not auto-generate a page per YouTube category. We will not label a 480×360 file as 4K. We will not stuff synonyms into an H1 a person would not say. That is scaled content abuse. If a topic is not a distinct job, it stays a section inside an existing page. The UHD question is one guide: what UHD actually means.
Experience the pages assume
Readers ship YouTube videos or work with stills from videos they have rights to. We write from Studio uploads, i.ytimg.com, oEmbed, Shorts crop, and home-feed chrome. We do not claim this is a Google product.
